“Miss Landmine” is an unconventional beauty pageant created to support and boost the self-esteem of women who have been affected by landmines. Participants often have limited mobility due to limb amputations resulting from landmine explosions. In this competition, they showcase their beauty, confidence, and courage, drawing attention to demining issues and landmine-related problems.
